share their processes and experiences in producing two outstanding
data-based reports.

socioeconomic disparities that plague SPA 6 and help account for =

public health, housing, and law enforcement policies on homelessn=

ward has ser=
ved
as the Policy Associate at Special Service for Groups (SSG) for t=
he
past year and a half. His work in the Census Data and Geographic
Information Services (CD & GIS) department helps support the
various SSG programs by providing data and research. David =
is
currently working on a new project with the United Way of Greater=
Los
Angeles and the California Community Foundation to provide program
planning and evaluation guidance to a number of local nonprofit
organizations. David is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Welfare at
UCLA, with a specific focus on nonprofit human service
organizations."

As Direc=
tor
of Social Medicine and Health Equity at St. John's Well Child and
Family Center, Rishi Manchanda coordinates the strate=
gic
alignment of clinical, research, advocacy and quality improvement
programs. The clinic's Program in Social Medicine and Health Equi=
ty
employs community based participatory research methods in
collaboration with local partners to address social determinants =
of
health in South Los Angeles. Board-certified in both Internal
Medicine and Pediatrics, Dr. Manchanda provides primary care at S=
t.
John's and is a member of the National Health Service Corps.=
