New Meeting Schedule

At the December general meeting. m= embers opted to change the schedule for quarterly, with committee meetings.  General membership meetings will be held quarterly, w= ith committee meetings held each month on the other two months of the quarter.  The day will generally be the third Thursday of the mo= nth. =

As our membership grows, it is becoming rather unwield= y to conduct detailed business at our monthly meetings.  This new approach will allow us to focus on the committee structure we had in place while we developed our strategic plan.  This structure is based on three working committees, each with its own strategic object= ives and work plan.

Quarterly general membership meetings will focus on specific topics of interest to members.  Look for a survey to identify the topics of most interest to members.<= /span>

The 2008 schedule is still in draft form, as reflected= in the chart on the left.
